Catalyze your career

An executive coach is someone to collaborate with to speed your career growth and help you achieve your short-term and longer-term goals.

Kat’s positive coaching style makes professional growth a fun and empowering process. Katalyst Coaching provides structure, tools and feedback to help clients overcome obstacles, grow their capabilities, increase their influence, reduce workplace stress, and take control of their work life. Mutual trust and honesty are the foundations of Katalyst Coaching.  Together, you build on your strengths and focus on actions that provide continued progress and growth, accelerate success and increase job satisfaction.

What is coaching?

An executive coach is a partner and guide. As a coach, Kat provides structure, support and feedback to her clients to identify and apply key strengths, meet their professional goals, improve communications and organizational influence, build leadership skills, and facilitate growth. Her process is a catalyst for forward progress.

Kat focuses on a client’s strengths and values. She helps clients create goals consistent with their values and helps them use their strengths to make progress toward these goals. Assessments can be included for identifying personality type, strengths, and emotional intelligence (EI).  EI is key to effective leadership and is central to her practice. It involves building self-awareness, self-management, empathy, and managing relationships.

How does coaching work?

As a coach, Kat partners with clients to identify key strengths and apply them to current challenges. Her approach is honest and direct, with an emphasis on positive change. Your conversations are completely confidential.

A short initial call is the first step to determine fit. Kat describes her approach and services offered, and learns what you would like to accomplish. If you decide to go forward, the first session is usually in-person or via video call to dive into the details of your current situation and primary goals. After that, meetings are arranged at mutually agreed upon times and locations, and can be done in person, by telephone or video calls. Initial engagements are typically 6 months. Meeting frequency varies, but is typically 3-4 times per month.

Who can benefit?

The benefits of coaching depend on what you choose to work on with your coach. Clients often see immediate impact and sustainable improvements.

The following are examples of focus areas for executives, startup CEOs, medical professionals, high potential professionals, the newly promoted, and organizations that need help with strategic planning or team dynamics.
